Syrian yellow and cherry amber necklace strung with salhayat pendant type Hamsa pendants. This style of pendant is worn in Algerian, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia and several other areas. The stringing is contemporary and the amber was collected in Syria in the early 1960's by a friend's mother.
